Playdough ideas

So, you made your playdough, what now? Well, here are some suggestions of things that you can do with playdough.

Play with playdough
This may seem like the most obvious thing to do... because it is. Treat the playdough like any other toy and have fun playing with it. Make different things out of it, then break it, add it all together again, then make something else.

Make sculptures
Make whatever you want to make out of the playdough, then let it air-dry.

Keep kids entertained
Give it to children to keep them busy, while at the same time having fun. This is a great way for Sunday school teachers, pre-school teachers or primary school teachers to keep their class busy.

Give playdough as a gift
Playdough is a great gift for a child because they can have a lot of fun making things out of the playdough. Best thing about giving homemade playdough as a gift, is that it isn't expensive.

Make a Paper weight out of playdough
Make a paper weight using the playdough by making something out of it, let it dry out and then use it to keep your papers from flying away.

Use playdough in games
Use the playdough in games. For example, play games like hot-potato, where you form the playdough into a ball and throw it to one another.

Use playdough in ice breakers
Use it in icebreakers. For example, someone calls out an object or animal, and everyone has to make whatever the object or animal is, out of the playdough, but they only have a minute to make it. The person whose creation looks the closest to the object or animal, wins.
