No Cook Homemade Playdough Recipe



This is a great homemade playdough recipe particularly for small children because it does not require any cooking or boiling water and is easy to make. With this homemade playdough recipe it is really easy to make your own playdough. Making your own playdough is as simple as mixing all the ingredients together until the playdough is formed, and adding color to it to brighten up the playdough to make it more fun.

Ingredients for this playdough recipe:
1 teaspoon of alum
1/2 cup of water
1 cup of flour
1/2 cup of salt
2 tablespoons of oil

Other things you will need for this playdough recipe:
measuring spoons
measuring cups
mixing bowl
mixing spoon

Step 1
First add the cup of flour to the mixing bowl. Then add the half a cup of salt, teaspoon of alum and 2 tablespoons of oil to the mixing bowl. Finally, add the half a cup of water.

Step 2
Stir all the ingredients that are in the mixing bowl together using the spoon. continue to mix all the ingredients together until it becomes thick and the dough is formed.

Step 3 (optional)
Add color using something like food coloring. You can either add the coloring during step 1, when you are adding all the ingredients together, or add the color once the playdough is formed and simply knead the color into the playdough.

Once that is done, you will have made your own playdough at home, without needing any heat or boiling water. There you have it... quick and easy playdough!
